TicketFanatico

Terms of Use

Last updated: August 31, 2026

Welcome to TicketFanatico (“TicketFanatico”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the TicketFanatico website, applications, and related services (together, the “Services”). Purchases made through the Services are transactions with TicketFanatico.

By browsing the Services or purchasing tickets through them, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. What TicketFanatico is

TicketFanatico is a marketplace for tickets to live events — concerts, sports, theatre, and festivals. Tickets sold through the Services are supplied by third-party professional sellers and resellers, not by TicketFanatico itself. We are not the venue, promoter, team, artist, or primary ticket issuer for any event, and we are not affiliated with or endorsed by them unless expressly stated.

Because the Services are a resale marketplace, ticket prices are set by sellers and may be above or below the face value printed on the ticket. Availability shown on the Services reflects seller inventory and can change at any time before your order is confirmed.

2. Eligibility and your account

You may use the Services only if you are at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority where you live) and can enter into a binding contract. When you place an order you must provide accurate, current, and complete information — including your name, email address, and phone number — and keep it up to date. We may refuse or cancel orders that appear fraudulent, mistaken, or placed by automated means.

3. All-in pricing

Prices displayed on the Services are “all-in”: the price you see for a ticket already includes service and processing fees. Where applicable, delivery charges or taxes that depend on your order details are shown before you pay. The total presented at checkout is the total you authorize — there are no surprise fees added afterwards.

All prices are shown in the currency indicated at checkout. Your card issuer may apply its own currency-conversion or international-transaction fees, which are outside our control.

4. Placing an order and payment

When you select tickets, we place a short-term hold on them (typically about 10 minutes) while you complete checkout. If the hold expires before you finish, the tickets are released and you must start again.

Our checkout is designed so that you are never charged for tickets we could not secure:

  • When you submit your payment details, we request an authorization on your card for the order total. This is not yet a charge.
  • We then confirm your tickets with the seller. Only after the tickets are secured do we capture the authorized amount.
  • If we cannot secure your tickets, the authorization is released and you are not charged. Depending on your bank, a released authorization may take a few business days to disappear from your statement.

Your order is accepted, and a contract for the tickets is formed, only when we send you an order confirmation. Payments are processed by our payment provider; TicketFanatico does not store your full card details.

5. Buyer guarantee

Every order on TicketFanatico is backed by our buyer guarantee:

  • You will receive valid tickets in time for the event.
  • Your tickets will be the ones you ordered, or comparable or better seats at no extra cost.
  • If the event is cancelled and not rescheduled, you will receive a refund of the amount you paid (or, where offered and you agree, a credit).
  • If any of the above fails, contact us and we will make it right with replacement tickets or a full refund of the amount you paid.

The guarantee does not cover problems caused by inaccurate information you provided, tickets resold or transferred by you after delivery, or denial of entry for reasons unrelated to ticket validity (for example, venue conduct policies or age restrictions).

6. Ticket delivery

Most tickets are delivered electronically — as e-tickets, mobile QR codes, or transfer links — to the email address on your order. Delivery timing depends on the event and the seller: some tickets are available shortly after purchase, while others are released closer to the event date, which is normal for live-event inventory. Your order confirmation explains the delivery method for your tickets, and we notify you by email the moment your tickets are ready.

You are responsible for ensuring you can receive delivery (a working email address, and where required, a compatible mobile ticketing app account) and for reviewing your tickets promptly on arrival. If anything looks wrong, contact us immediately.

7. All sales final; cancelled and postponed events

Because sellers commit inventory the moment your order is confirmed, all sales are final. Orders cannot be cancelled, exchanged, or refunded because of a change of plans, and we cannot guarantee requests to change seat, quantity, or delivery details after confirmation.

  • Cancelled events: if an event is cancelled and not rescheduled, we will refund the amount you paid for your tickets (or offer a credit where permitted, which you may decline in favor of the refund).
  • Postponed or rescheduled events: your tickets normally remain valid for the new date, and no refund is due. If the organizer offers refunds for the change, we will pass that option on to you.
  • Event changes: lineup, supporting acts, start times, and similar details can change without notice and are the organizer's responsibility; such changes do not entitle you to a refund.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Services. In particular, you will not:

  • use bots, scrapers, or other automated tools to access the Services, harvest data, or place orders;
  • circumvent, or attempt to circumvent, purchase limits, holds, or security measures;
  • place speculative orders, use stolen or unauthorized payment methods, or engage in any fraudulent activity;
  • interfere with the operation of the Services or attempt to access systems or data you are not authorized to access;
  • use the Services in violation of any applicable law, including laws governing ticket resale in your jurisdiction.

We may suspend or terminate access to the Services, and cancel pending orders, for conduct that violates these Terms.

9. Intellectual property

The Services — including our name, logo, design, text, and software — are owned by TicketFanatico or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes. Event names, artist names, team names, venue names, and related imagery are the property of their respective owners; their appearance on the Services is for identification only and implies no affiliation or endorsement. Photography credits are listed on our photo credits page.

10. Third-party services and links

The Services rely on third parties — such as payment processors, ticket suppliers, and seat-map providers — and may link to external websites. Those third parties operate under their own terms and privacy policies, which we do not control and are not responsible for.

We also use product analytics for feature flags and experiments; Google Analytics 4 for site analytics; Google Ads to measure paid search and checkout and completed-purchase conversions; and session recordings and heatmaps to understand how people use the Services. Our providers may use cookies, pixels, scripts, and similar technologies and receive usage events, page URLs, device and browser information, feature-flag assignments, session interactions, and advertising-attribution values such as gclid, UTM parameters (including utm_term), and src=gads. Our Privacy Policy explains these practices in more detail.

11. Disclaimers

Except for the express commitments in our buyer guarantee (Section 5), the Services are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that event information displayed on the Services (dates, times, lineups, seat maps) is accurate in every case — event details are controlled by organizers and can change.

Attending live events involves inherent risks. TicketFanatico is not the organizer of any event and is not responsible for the event itself, the conduct of the venue or performers, or your experience at the event.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TicketFanatico will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, or data, arising out of or related to your use of the Services. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the order giving rise to the claim (or, if the claim does not relate to an order, one hundred US dollars).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or affects statutory consumer rights you hold in your country of residence.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TicketFanatico and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Services, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, except where the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence apply. Before bringing a formal claim, you agree to contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue informally — most concerns can be settled quickly by our support team. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in the competent courts, subject to any mandatory venue rules that protect you as a consumer.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time — for example, to reflect changes in the Services or in the law. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when the current version took effect. Material changes will be highlighted on the Services or communicated by email where appropriate. Changes apply from the moment they are published and do not affect orders already confirmed; your continued use of the Services after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
